Is the price per person or per house?
Clonandra Cottages are priced on a per house basis & include the stated number of persons each house can hold.
Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
No, cottages are supplied with duvets and all bed linen. Many of our homes also provide towels. Guests will need to bring bed linen for travel cots, if requested.
What facilities are available in the cottages?
All cottages provide fully equipped kitchens most of which include microwaves and dishwashers. Also included are washing machine and dryers. All cottages have TV's in the living rooms; some properties have videos (please enquire prior to arrival). A travel cot and highchair can also be pre-booked prior to arrival however this is subject to availability
Is there an additional charge for electricity and gas?
No: All utilities are included providing they’re not abused.
How early do I need to book?
We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.
Do I require a credit card to book online?
Yes if you wish to make a booking on line a credit card is required. In the event of you not possessing a credit card we will hold your booking for 7 working days until we receive the appropriate deposit by post or bank transfer. Your deposit is payable to Clonandra Cottages by cheque, postal order or bankers draft
When do I pay in full for my holiday?
The balance of monies payable for your stay is expected 4 - 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation?
Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by phone, fax or e-mail. In the event of a cancellation deposits are non-refundable but at times they may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us. In the event where the balance has not been paid we will charge the full amount of your stay to your credit card.
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
- Booking deposit is non refundable
- 4 to 6 weeks before date of arrival 50%
- 1 week or less before arrival 100%
What facilities are available in the locality?
Clonandra Cottages set in 25-acre grounds is nestled on the banks of a private coarse-fishing lake surrounded with numerous activities and attractions nearby. Whether your interests are fishing, hill walking, horseback riding, boating or simply relaxing in our communal hot tub & Sauna, regardless you are assured of a fantastic stay.
What time can I check-in?
Check-in time is normally from 4pm onwards, however we do ask that you phone ahead the day before your arrival to give an indication of your check in time. If you require an early check-in this must be arranged prior to arrival.
What time do I have to check-out?
Check-out time is strictly 10am during the Summer months of July & August. At other times we try to be as flexible as possible. Late checkouts must be pre-arranged with the onsite supervisor. We ask that cottages be left as they were found.
Do I have to pay a security deposit?
Yes, a security deposit of €100 is required. This deposit is required to cover any breakages or damage that may occur during your stay. A credit card number, post-dated cheque or cash is accepted. This deposit is returned to you in full on your departure providing that the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition
Can I stay for 2-3 days or is it weekly letting only?
Yes our minimum requirement is 2 nights stay. This can be weekend or midweek (depending on availability) except for the months of July & August where our policy is to let on a weekly basis only.
Can I take a pet along?
Yes, all our cottages accept pets.
Can I purchase a gift voucher for Clonandra Cottages?
Yes, you can buy Gift Vouchers for any denomination from €50 up. Vouchers are open and can be used towards any of our 7 cottages within 6 months of issue.
